The campsite
Storängens campsite is approx. 15 ha. and has 49 spots with electricity. Besides these, there is enough space to find yourself a place without electricity. Do you prefer to camp near the river “Klarälven” or have a place in the shade? It’s all possible at the Storängens Campsite.

Our campsite has a beautiful, clean and modern sanitary building with an invalid toilet and shower and there’s also the possibility to empty your chemical toilet. You can also use our camp kitchen with an electric cooker and microwave. We have a launderette with a washing-machine, drier, ironing board and a hand washing facility.

Nice swimming in the “Klarälven” is possible, you can swim to a small island which belongs to our campsite. Sunbathing is very enjoyable on the beach of this island and it’s also possible to reach this island by a floating bridge. Canoes and bicycles can be hired for the more sporting entertainment, or you can have some fun while you are playing football. Or perhaps try the Swedish game “Kubb”. Fishing is also possible from our new bridge.

For the children there is a playground or they can take a look at our sheep. During the high season there are daily activities for children, till example: pottering, afternoon with several games, activities in the woods, ghost tour, bingo and different kinds of ball games.

Several products are sold in our kiosk. On our terrace you can enjoy your cup of coffee, soft drink, ice cream or a snack. In the morning you can get delicious freshly baked bread at the reception.

Cabins
Cabins, which are called “stugor” in Sweden, can be hired for 2 or 4 persons.

Cabin A:
The cabin has a kitchen with refrigerator, electric cooker, tableware, cutlery, pans and cold water. There are two single beds, a dining table with chairs, quilts, pillows and electric heating. The cabin is 10 m2.

Cabin B:
The cabins have a kitchen with refrigerator, electric cooker, tableware, cutlery, pans and cold water. There are two bunk beds, a dining table with chairs, quilts, pillows and electric heating. The cabin is 10 m2.

Cabin C:
The cabins have a kitchen with refrigerator, electric cooker, tableware, cutlery and pans. In this cabin is no water, you can get water in the sanitary building or at one of the water stations on the campsite (there is a jerrycan in the cabin). There is one bunkbed and a settee-bed, a dining table with chairs, quilts, pillows and electric heating. The cabin is 15 m2.

The showers and toilets are within walking distance, on the veranda you can enjoy the splendid view.
